Ahead of the Curve: Originally a response to a rude chef, the song "Power & Greed" has gained resonance as a companion to the Occupy Cleveland movement. "I'm sure a lot of people have their backs against the wall," says James.
Occupying a Stage Near You: Over the years, James has learned what stirs up a crowd. The band's cover of Neil Young's "Ohio" starts in a jazz mode and ends in a flurry of guitar feedback. "We play that at the rallies and protest marches with people chanting," he says. "It's awesome. People still want a revolution."
Why You Should Hear Them: Grabbing influences from prog to punk, the band sounds like a jam session featuring Porcupine Tree, Nirvana, and Pink Floyd.
