Over the years, local photographer Janet Macoska has taken some amazing photos. She's captured rock icons such as David Bowie, Led Zeppelin, the Clash, Devo, Heart, AC/DC and the Kinks. In All Access: Cleveland—The Rock and Roll Photography of Janet Macoska, her new book that she's co-authored with local writer Peter Chakerian, she documents 40 years of shooting rock concerts in Cleveland. The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame will host a live program with her at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 30, in the Museum’s Foster Theater. Macoska and Chakerian will discuss the book. Following the program, Macoska will sign copies of the book.

“It has been a honor having Janet capture the last two plus decades of Rock Hall history,” says Dr. Lauren Onkey, the Rock Hall’s VP of Education and Public Programming, in a press release. “She is a part of the Rock Hall’s family and a true Cleveland icon. We are excited to host her and her stories for this event.”

The event is free with a reservation through the Rock Hall website at tickets.rockhall.com or at the Rock Hall box office. Seating is limited. Rock Hall Members can RSVP starting at 10 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 17. Non-Rock Hall members can RSVP starting at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 18. The event will also be live streamed on rockhall.com.
