Local Rockers So Long, Albatross to Play Free EP Release Show at Beachland

Concert Announcement

Genre-defying local rockers So Long, Albatross celebrate the release of their new EP with a free show tonight at 8 at the Beachland Ballroom. Recorded at Painesville's Suma Recording Studios (Pere Ubu, Black Keys, Wild Cherry, Grand Funk Railroad), the EP finds the band in good form.

“Something in the Way” sounds like a cross between Wolfmother and Jane’s Addiction and “In the End” thrives on a grunge-y guitar riff and punishing drums. Adam Boose mastered the EP at his Cauliflower Audio and the locally based Gotta Groove pressed it on colored vinyl. Erienauts and Golden Streets of Paradise open tonight's concert.
