The members of the local roots rock act AJ & the Woods have spent the past nine months working on their new music video for the single “Adeline." They worked on it at Lava Room Recording with locals Mike Brown and Madeline Finn.
Now, the group has just released the finished product.
“The video uses only natural lighting, and takes you riding through the seasons,” says guitarist Joshua Alan Collins. “It starts on a luscious green summer day, then transitions into a golden fall, and ends in the blistering cold winter. There are absolutely zero special effects or synthesized lighting; everything is completely outside and in the elements.”
The progression of seasons takes center stage in the song to showcase the “acceptance of oncoming death.”
AJ & the Woods is continuing to work at Lava Room Recording on an album to be released this summer.
