Damn. The good folks behind the Nelsonville Music Festival dropped major headlines this morning when they announced several kick-ass additions to the event this year.

The roster of music speaks for itself thus far. Without further ado:

New additions
Dinosaur Jr.
The Head and The Heart
Jason Isbell
Frank Turner & The Sleeping Souls
The No BS Brass Band
Hunters
Charles Walker & The Dynamites
Village of Spaces
Wesley Bright & The Hi-Lites

And the bands already listed
Ray Wylie Hubbard
Shakey Graves
Pokey LaFarge
Pierced Arrows
The Men
Grupo Fantasma
Jessica Hernandez and the Deltas
Michael Hurley
Saintseneca
Motel Beds
Tweens
Tim Pfaff

And, as announced last year, the Avett Brothers are headlining the whole thing.

The fest takes place May 29 to June 1 in bucolic Nelsonville, Ohio. Last year's event, though beset by torrential rain at times, was an unbelievably good time. Wilco held down the headlining slot, giving the fans who stuck it out through a storm a show for the ages.
