On Friday, March 7 and Saturday, March 8, the Phantasy Nite Club will host a benefit and memorial for its longtime soundman Dale Lucas, who passed away on Jan. 4. The first night will feature pop, rock and metal bands, and the second night will be devoted to industrial and Goth acts. "Anyone that has been to the Phantasy and enjoyed the music and the excellent sound quality of the bands knows it's because of one man, Dale Lucas," writes Phantasy owner Michele De Frasia in a press release. "He was known as the BEST soundman in Cleveland. He took care of his sound system to the max; it was his baby. He also truly cared about the bands. He always had an idea of how to make the shows just a little better. He would settle for nothing less than the best for sound! We will miss him greatly." Necrus Obscura, Demons Within, Hatecore Inc., Outdrive, the Sunrise Jones and Mobil Avenues perform on Friday night. Mercury Project, Missile Command, Shadow Saints, DJ Nemesis and DJ Guy Wires will perform on Saturday night. Concerts both nights start at 8 and tickets are $6.
