In the wake of the release of their new album,
Age of Unreason, the veteran punk rock band Bad Religion has announced the dates of a summer tour.
The group comes to the
Agora Theatre on Saturday, Aug. 10.
Age of Unreason offers “a political and deeply personal treatise” on everything the band represents.
“The band has always stood for enlightenment values,” co-songwriter and guitarist Brett Gurewitz explains in a press release announcing the tour dates. “Today, these values of truth, freedom, equality, tolerance and science are in real danger. This record is our response.”
Co-produced by Carlos de la Garza, the album is Bad Religion’s 17th studio release.
Tickets for the Agora show go on sale at 10 a.m. on Friday.
