Rapper Kendrick Lamar to Play House of Blues in November

Earlier this year, rapper Kendrick Lamar released his third studio effort, To Pimp a Butterfly, a heady album that dabbles in funk, spoken word poetry and jazz. It topped the charts all the over the world and made Lamar into a superstar. Now, he's just announced a special small-hall fall tour, TDE Presents: 1st Annual Kunta's Groove Sessions with Kendrick Lamar. Lamar's backing band, the Wesley Theory, will accompany him and TDE labelmate Jay Rock is slated to be on the bill as well.

The tour includes a stop at House of Blues on Nov. 4. Tickets for that show go on sale at 10 a.m. on Friday. They cost $50, and there's a two-ticket limit.
