The programming commences on Saturday, March 24, with a free show at Cleveland Public Library featuring the Brent Kirby Trio, Marcus Alan Ward, Hey Mavis and the Chris Allen Trio. Then, at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, April 3, at the Rock Hall, Ideastream's Rick Jackson moderates a panel featuring guests such as Rock Hall Inductee Martha Reeves, Rock Hall CEO Greg Harris, former Rock Hall Executive Director Dennis Barrie and executive director of the George Gund Foundation Executive Director David Abbot.
The film Bad Reputation screens at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, April 6, and admission to the Rock Hall will be free on Celebration Day. That event which takes place on Saturday, April 7, will conclude with a Rock 'N Blast Firework Show.
Rock writer Gayle Wald will give a talk at 7 pm. on Wednesday, April 11, at the Rock Hall. She'll discuss her book Shout, Sister, Shout!: The Untold Story of Rock-and-Roll Trailblazer Sister Rosetta Tharpe during an interview with Senior Director of Library and Archives Andy Leach.
The Moody Blues concert film Days of Future Passed Live will screen all day at the Rock Hall on Thursday, April 12, and the band will participate in a Hall of Fame Series discussion at 8 that night.
DJ Questlove will perform at the official Inductions afterparty that takes place at 11 p.m. on Saturday, April 14, and Yes drummer Bill Buford will participate in a Hall of Fame Series interview that takes place at 7 pm. on Wednesday, April 18, at the Rock Hall.
