Tomorrow, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum opens a new exhibit devoted to hip-hop icon Beyoncé Knowles Carter (or Sasha Fierce, as she's sometimes known). Located in the Legends of Rock section of the Ahmet Ertegun Main Exhibit Hall, the exhibit includes the Rubin Singer leather and lace body suit, skirt, and jacket from the 2013 Super Bowl Performance that Beyoncé may or may not have lip-synced, the Givenchy black beaded and purple feather mermaid gown from the 2012 Met Gala, the Gareth Pugh gold dress from the “Run the World (Girls)” music video she filmed in 2011, the one-sleeve black leotard from the “Single Ladies” video she filmed in 2008 and the white cotton tank-top w/stones, J Brand Denim shorts and red Stuart Weitzman patent leather sling-back pumps from the “Crazy In Love” video she made in 2003. You’ll also see the Thierry Mugler gold metal body suit with gold pumps she wore in the “Sweet Dreams” video. And what makes the exhibit truly unique is that it’s the first time an artist who’s not yet inducted into the Rock Hall has been featured in the Legends of Rock exhibit.
