"When you have your time in the sun, really appreciate it and absorb it, and have a great time," he says.
Money's career-fade was sudden. He had a strong five-album run (including the hits "Shakin'" and "Baby Hold On") before nose-diving in the early '90s. Three albums since '94 have failed to revive his fortunes.
Money isn't bitter about being viewed as a classic rocker and playing clubs, casinos, and fairs instead of arenas.
"It's really nice to know that people still come to the shows," he says. "It's a nice way to make a living."
