'Round Town Music Festival to Take Place in Kent on Friday

On Friday, some 40 bands will perform at the ’Round Town Music Festival in Kent. The festival started in the ‘60s as the Kent Folk Festival. It’s now evolved into the Kent ‘Round Town Music Festival. Local artists such as Abby Rose & Kevin Martinez of the Speedbumps, Roger Hoover and the Hurt, 15-60-75 The Numbers Band, Brent Kirby and His Luck, and the Ryan Humbert Band will perform.

This is the third Kent music festival of 2015 presented by the Crooked River Arts Council, the group that also produced Beatlefest and Blues Fest. The Crooked River Arts Council will also produce Reggae Jam, which comes to Kent in November. The festival takes place at locations throughout Kent from 11:30 a.m. to 2 a.m. Admission is free.
