You pretty much know what's in store at the AP Tour: a bunch of fresh-faced pop-punks who sing about how the world just doesn't get them. And girls; they'll be singing a lot of songs about girls. This year's headliners — All Time Low and the Rocket Summer — embody Alternative Press' core readership. The guys in these bands look, act, and probably smell a lot like their fans. Maryland's All Time Low particularly gets in the youthful spirit on last year's So Wrong, It's Right, which is packed with adolescent sentiments like "Girl, we'll take the world by storm/It isn't that hard" that'll undoubtedly be crushed once adulthood truly sinks in. The Rocket Summer, on the other hand, is led by the acts-older-than-he-really-is Bryce Avary, who made Summer's major-label debut, Do You Feel, all by himself. That doesn't mean he can't connect with listeners. Check out "Do You Feel," which carries the weight of the world on its young shoulders.
