The Cleveland Pops Orchestra has just announced that the G-Clef Ball, its 23rd anniversary celebration, will be held at 6 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 19, at the Hilton Cleveland Downtown Hotel. The Orchestra has invited Joseph and Anthony Russo, the talented Cleveland duo behind the Avengers films, to be the honorees for the event.

The event will include a silent auction and music by maestro Carl Topilow and the Cleveland Pops Orchestra.

Raised in Cleveland’s Italian neighborhood and educated at local schools and universities, the Russo brothers deserve the accolades because, according to the press release announcing the event, they've "brought new energy to the burgeoning Cleveland movie industry and worldwide awareness of our city’s arts and entertainment potential."

All proceeds from the 2019 fundraiser will benefit the non-profit Cleveland Pops Orchestra. Tickets cost 250 per person.
