The Speedbumps Set to Kick Off Summer at Sims Park Concert Series

Concert Announcement

The Summer at Sims Park Concert series launches tomorrow at 6 p.m. with a performance from Kent-based folk rockers the Speedbumps [pictured]. The concert takes place from 6 to 9 p.m. at Sims Park in Euclid. David Loy and the Ramrods are the opening act.

The Nosh Box, Off the Griddle, Chill Pop Shop and Savannah’s Sweet & Salty Kettle Corn are the food trucks that will be on hand.

The concert series began last year and, according to a press release, attracted “large crowds from throughout the area who brought their lawn chairs and blankets to the park to enjoy great music and food from local food trucks.” Beer, wine and other beverages will be for sale. The concert series will take place on the last Thursday of the month — concerts are scheduled for June 25, July 30 and August 27. Admission is free.
