We've never really liked Kiss, but we grew up with tons of kids who adored them.

So this news is for them: Kiss are celebrating their 35th anniversary with a Kiss Alive 35 tour that stops in Cleveland on September 28. They'll play the Q.

Kiss have a new album coming out. It's called Sonic Boom. It'll probably suck. But no one goes to Kiss shows to hear new songs — not when "Detroit Rock City" and "Rock and Roll All Nite" are on the set list.

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Q's box office and Ticketmaster locations or by calling 800.745.3000.

Word is, the guys will be showing off some new costumes. Maybe that's supposed to make up for all those "farewell tour" concerts the band lied about a few years ago. —Michael Gallucci
