Travel Channel Program to Feature Local Musicians

Trip Flip, a program hosted by the Travel Channel’s Bert Kreischer, will broadcast a one-hour episode tonight at 8 featuring local musicians James Begin and Chris DiCola. Kreischer and Trip Flip producers discovered the duo busking outside of Progressive Field in the fall of 2014.
Begin and DiCola were members of the local ska group Glow Pop Jiggly Jams, which has opened for acts such as Bowling for Soup. Begin is currently a member of jam rockers Tropidelic, and DiCola plays with Persons, Places, Things. The show’s producers took Begin and DiCola to Vietnam where they embarked on a travel adventure and went rock climbing and cave exploring. They hiked through the jungles and took junk boat cruises. DiCola provided the musical score for the episode; five of his original songs will be heard throughout the episode. Both Begin and DiCola will be seen performing throughout the show.
