Following performances by West Coast rapper E-40 and guitar legend Carlos Santana during the last two NBA Finals games in Oakland, the Cavaliers are slated to have their own superstars set perform before tipoff this week in Cleveland.
The NBA announced Monday that country band Rascal Flatts and R&B singer Usher will perform the National Anthem here in Cleveland for Games 3 and 4 of the NBA Finals, respectively.
This will act as a homecoming of sorts for Rascal Flatts’ group members Gary LeVox and Jay DeMarcus, both of whom are Ohio natives.
Usher, of course, has been part owner of the Cavs since 2005 and has had his fair share of performing for Wine and Gold fans, most recently at this year's home opener.
