For the first time in 22 years, Van Halen is touring with David Lee Roth, who was the greatest frontman of his generation -- maybe ever. They don't make 'em like that any more.
Which is why, last week, the first shows to go on sale sold out immediately. The tour hits Cleveland Wednesday, October 10 -- minus bassist/backup vocalist Michael Anthony, and with Eddie Van Halen's son Wolfgang taking his place. Tickets go on sale this Saturday at all Ticketmaster outlets and LiveNation.com. If you want tickets, you should be in line by now.

Backstage sounds cool, but trust us: Nothing happens backstage. And nothing will. They're too old to trash dressing rooms (except Wolfgang, who at 16 is too young -- plus, like, his dad is there). And it's the sixth show of the tour. If Dave's gonna get in a fistfight with Eddie and send the tour into a massive crash-and-burn, it'll happen by the fourth show at the latest. -- D.X. Ferris
