What to Do Tonight: Bleeding Through

Hangin tough
  • Hangin' tough

Bleeding Through are embarking on the next phase of an already impressive career. Their self-titled sixth album is the first to feature new guitarist Dave Nassie, formerly of No Use for a Name. Musically, they’re still a deathcore band, with frontman Brandan Schiappati ranting and barking while semi-melodic guitars roar and Marta Peterson’s keyboards dribble Gothic romanticism in the background and around the edges. They’ve won their audience through hard touring and fierce live shows, and the new material is bound to be well-received by longtime fans. They play Peabody’s, with Born of Osiris, Sleeping Giant, Oceano and Legend opening at 6:30 p.m. Tickets: $15. —Phil Freeman
