What to Do Tonight: Boys From County Hell

For more than 10 years, the Boys From the County Hell have played marathon shows on St. Patrick's Day, often starting before 10 a.m. and concluding when the bars close. Over the decade, the Pogues tribute band has teamed up with Spider Stacy (an orginal Pogue) for a series of shows, played a gig in Bangkok and started more than one bar brawl with its rowdy performances. Boys leaders Chris Allen and Doug McKean are kicking things off early this year with a pre-St. Patrick’s Day party at House of Blues (308 Euclid Ave., 216.523.2583, houseofblues.com) tonight. Hey Mavis and Pitch the Peatat open at 8 p.m. Tickets are $12 in advance, $14 day of show. — Niesel
