Good afternoon, Cleveland. Here's some stuff to read while you pretend that you're really still interested in the Cavs.

— The Daily Beast ranked the smartest cities in America and Cleveland came in at number 17, up from the 31st spot it claimed last year. We're not entirely sure the metrics used in this "study," but we're pretty sure "Number of people who click on articles that rank cities" wasn't one of them. (WEWS)

— Get ready for a blitz of anit-Boccieri ads funded by Crossroads America. (National Journal)

— The Cuyahoga Arts & Culture Group, funded by the cigarette tax passed last year, gave $15 million to 130 various arts groups around the city. What would this city have if not for smokers? (Cleveland.com)

— Maxwell, the popular radio host who lost his gig at WMMS last year (fired), will be returning to Cleveland's airwaves Monday on 98.5 with a daily 5:30 to 10 a.m. show. (The 330)
