Annual 3-Day Duck Tape Festival Kicks Off Today in Avon

The 14th Annual Duck Tape festival returns today to Veterans Memorial Park in Avon for a three-day event filled with beer, music, food and, of course, Duck Tape. This event celebrates the home of the original duct tape brand, Duck Tape. This weekend filled event kicks off today from 4 to 11 p.m. with live performances from Blend A Capella Doo-Wop Group, RiverHawk Band and Keith Anderson. The parade kicks off tomorrow at 10 a.m. starting at the Avon High School with the rest of the events kicking off at 11 a.m. with performances from DJ Kenny G, Bill Manspeaker & Green Jello, Blend Acapella Doo-Wop Group, Billy Sullivan and Moving in Stereo. The Duck Tape fashion show begins at 1:30 p.m. The event continues from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday with music from the Geeze Cats and Nathan Henry Northeast. ducktapefestival.com
