There are not many ways in which you can say the Indians have improved since last year, but there's at least one. And there may be only one, but you have to give them credit where credit is due.
Last year the Tribe gave out Shin-Soo Choo bobbleheads on June 13. Unfortunately, there seemed to be some problems, notably: making a bobblehead that resembled Choo in any way.
The trinket turned out looking like some extra from Miami Vice (which was intended, to some degree, for the 80's-themed weekend, so the Simon Says-esque stand wasn't completely out of place). The Choo bobblehead, rather than appearing Korean, bore the skin tone of, say, Delonte West. The hair looked like some perm from a budget beauty shop with a bad red dye job. You would think no one from the Indians had ever seen Choo or anyone of Korean descent in person before.
So one year later, again in the middle of June, the Indians still suck, but at least they've conquered the mysterious task of replicating Choo's personage in doll form. Congrats, gentleman.
(Notice, also, that they added the hyphen in his name.)
