Barberton Flasher Exposed Himself To Women, Tried To Sue Them For Taking Video

Police arrested a man in Barberton who they're calling a "serial flasher," after his fourth incident of public indecency in seven years.

According to Cleveland.com, on July 16 around 8:45 p.m., Barberton resident Logan Wagner, 29, reportedly yelled insults at a 28-year-old female neighbor, another 21-year-old woman and a 14-year-old girl. The girl began to film Wagner's rant on her phone, at which point he decided to emphasize his point by dropping his pants.

The video was provided to police, who arrested Wagner for public indecency. According to police reports, all Wagner said when he was arrested was that he wanted to sue the girl for taking the video. It probably won't be easy for him to claim "invasion of privacy" with his history of exhibitionism.

In fact, his latest incident was elevated to a fifth-degree felony, since he exposed himself to a minor and also because of three similar and steadily escalating incidents in past years. Settle in, because it's quite a story.

The reign of terror began on June 8, 2008, when he pulled down his pants at the counter of the Barberton Public Library. He was fined $150 and put under house arrest for 30 days.

Just six months later in January, which was a rather cold month to do this sort of thing, Wagner reportedly stared at a 32-year-old woman in a Walgreen's parking lot before dropping his pants again. After that, he was sentenced to one year on probation.

The downward spiral continued in March 2009, when Wagner exposed himself to a woman cleaning the offices of Wagner Machine. The woman was the wife of Police Chief Brian Dressler, who was accused of assault when he found out and responded as might be expected. He was put on leave. Wagner, after being beaten, was sentenced to 60 days in jail and a $250 fine. 

It's been about six years since that last incident, but old habits die hard, it seems. Wagner was due in court on Wednesday. Hopefully he kept his pants up.
