There's some big news about the future of Big Fun. After announcing its closure in January, the beloved Cleveland Heights toy store has announced its return in the form of a partnership with b.a. Sweetie Candy Company. In a merger that should thrill not just Cleveland's kids, but also adults who like to gorge on candy and vintage Star Trek action figures, the new store is set to open June 1 under the name Sweeties Big Fun. The new location will be at Pinecrest in Orange Village, the eccentric toy store announced in a Facebook post.

Sweeties Big Fun will feature inventory from both Big Fun and Sweeties Brookpark Road spot, the largest candy store in North America. Big Fun's Coventry storefront should remain open through May, drastically minimizing the time Cleveland has to go without its resident toy labyrinth.
