Celebrating its 90th birthday, 7-Eleven has dubbed today the "best day of the year." And while this may be a bit of an exaggeration, free Slurpees are always worth getting excited about.
That's right, on behalf of the now-nonagenarian company, you can score a free, small Slurpee today (from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., of course) at participating stores.
Spring for the classic blue raspberry, lemonade, cherry-Coke mix or try this summer's new addition: cotton candy.
"7-Eleven Day is a celebration, not only of our birthday, but more importantly, of our customers," said Laura Gordon, the company's marketing vice president, in a press release. "Ninety years is a big birthday, and our customers are the ones who got us here."
