Today marks Cleveland's 220th birthday. And what better birthday present than the RNC packing up and leaving town last night/this morning? Well, that is certainly the most welcome news we've heard in awhile and it there's plenty of free things to do to celebrate the birthday/re-possession of our city.
Rides on the Euclid Beach Grand Carousel at the Cleveland History Center are $1 each from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. today, or free and unlimited with admission.
There will also be a Founder's Day Party from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. at the Wade Oval.
In honor of the occasion, University Circle is throwing Founder's Day party from noon to 2 p.m. today at Wade Oval. The event includes live entertainment, a bounce house, a birthday cake, Euclid Beach Rocket Car rides and more.
