Chef Jonathan Sawyer Hit by RTA Bus

Cleveland chef Jonathan Sawyer was hit by an RTA paratransit bus this morning on what appears to be Euclid Ave. He posted the photos on Instagram (pictured right).

Here's Sawyer's tweet:

Wow Just got hit by an #RTA bus in #CLe , not injured but shaken up. Drivers please check your side… instagram.com/p/ZnSw39Qfin/

Post ellipsis, the message is as follows: ...mirrors when turning right on a green light, share the road.

Channel 5 is characterizing Sawyer's social media updates as "urging bikers to be aware," but it sounds much more like "urging motorists to open their eyes." That's why he said "DRIVERS, please check your side view mirrors, etc."

The owner of Greenhouse Tavern and Noodlecat is not happy with the RTA folks either:
