Chimaira Get In on the Whole Winning Thing

It was only a matter of time before someone cashed in on Charlie Sheen's flameout with a cover version of "Wild Thing," so it might as well be a group of Clevelanders.

Cleveland metal band Chimaira just released "Wild Thing" — used in Sheen's 1989 movie Major League — and you can buy it on iTunes.

We know Major League has a special place in many Clevelanders' hearts since it's all about the Tribe, but fact is, it's just another crappy project starring the douchey Sheen. (Go ahead, you can admit it.)

Still, we can't blame Chimaira for cashing in. The song's two chords make it an easy one to toss off in about two and a half minutes. And the Cleveland ties are all over this one. So it makes sense.

Chimaira: rhymes with winning. —Michael Gallucci
