Cleveland is Resilient-ish

resiliency-map.jpg

Here's a map compiled with data by and from the University of California Berkeley that addresses "resiliency" in major metro areas across America. (If you want to know what exactly they studied and what factors played a role in the rankings, they are listed here, and include business ownership, voting, income, education, and more.)

What's important is the map gives a crosshatch look at ho well cities around the country bounced back from the economic kick in the balls. Cleveland, according to the study, ranked 132nd out of 361, meaning we didn't fall down and cry when Wall Street took our lunch money and hung us from our underwear on the flag pole, but we didn't punch Wall Street in the face either.
