Cleveland Restaurant Week Starts... Now!

Today is the official start of Cleveland Restaurant Week 2013. For 13 days, dozens of local, independent restaurants will be offering special three-course prix fixe meals for just $33 (not counting tax and tip). Some restaurants diverge slightly off that price.

Some of the participating restaurants include Bac, Bistro 185, Blue Canyon, Chinato, Felice, Fire, Flying Fig, Flour, Grovewood, Jammy Buggars, L'Albatros, La Dolce Vita, Light Bistro, Marotta's, Moxie, Paladar, Pier W, Players, Provenance, Red, Rockefeller's, Sasa, Spice, Table 45, Tartine, Toast, Umami and Vero.

Rockefeller’s, for example, is offering diners the following choices: first course: lamb meatballs with goat’s milk feta and roasted red pepper glaze or bruschetta with white bean purée, asparagus and caramelized onions. Salad course: roasted local beets, goat cheese, walnuts and coriander vinaigrette or bibb with garlic croutons, shaved parmesan and house Caesar. Main: pecan-crusted trout with butternut squash hash, baby beans and brown butter or quinoa with seasonal local vegetables, goat’s milk feta and roasted garlic.
