We’ve seen a lot of inventive ways of celebrating the Cavs' historic season, with thousands flocking to the Quicken Loans Arena for each game. One local teen, however, is putting his creativity to use to show his love for the team.

18-year-old artist Alonzo Wright is live-painting a five-by-five foot mural at Tower City this weekend in honor of basketball legend LeBron James. The mural, which was set up this morning at 11 a.m., rests against the back wall of Tower City’s NEXT boutique on a lawn of brown paper and shows James smiling against a currently white background.

So far, the outline of James’ face is finished, with some color blocking also completed. The painting’s style seems to lean toward pop art with an emphasis on solid colors and strong lines.

The live painting will continue tomorrow from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and into Sunday until the work is complete. Anyone shopping at Tower City or interested in art can stop by NEXT to watch Wright work. Sounds like a good pitstop to make on the way to watching Game 4 tonight.
