Cleveland's Horseshoe Casino Takes Home Top Votes in Annual Casino Player Magazine Poll

Cleveland's Horseshoe Casino was recently voted number one in a boatload of categories by readers of Casino Player Magazine, including Best Overall Gaming Resort.
In the eyes of our readers, Ohio's first casino is still the best. Horseshoe Cleveland topped the poll as Best Overall Gaming Resort and Best Casino. It's in the historic Higbee's building in Tower City Center  in Public Square, downtown Cleveland. Starting in 1929, the building had been home to the Higbee's department store that was founded in 1860. The store closed in 2002. Horseshoe has converted the space into a 96,000 square foot gaming floor, with slots, video poker, blackjack, craps, roulette, poker, and more. It has a buffet and three quick bite restaurants, while also partnering with restaurants in downtown Cleveland. Along the same line, there's no hotel here - Hollywood promotes hotel partners within the city. Readers gave Horseshoe a near clean sweep of the poll categories with first place in all but eight.
If you're looking for luck however, head south. Hollywood Casino Columbus was voted Casino Where People Feel the Luckiest.
