Cleveland's Own Stipe Miocic Will Get UFC Title Shot After Weekend Win

It took all of 54 seconds for Stipe Miocic to put down Andrei Arlovski this weekend at UFC 195. After the bout ended, Miocic ran over to the direction of UFC Top Men seated ringside, including Dana White, and yelled, "I want my title shot!" He also chatted about it with Joe Rogan in a post fight interview and White and Miocic discussed it in the press conference afterward.

The upshot? Cleveland's own Stipe Miocic is going to get his title shot, which is both well deserved and overdue. He'll take on the winner of a title rematch between current champion Fabricio Werdum and Cain Velasquez, which goes down in Vegas in February.

We've spent some time with Stipe, as have a lot of Clevelanders — he really is the nicest guy in the world — and we can tell you a couple things. First, his favorite place in the entire world is TJ Maxx and second, no one deserves this more than Stipe.
