Concert Review: 2 Chainz at House of Blues

It took two hours after the last opening act performed before rapper 2 Chainz arrived on stage last night before a sold out crowd at House of Blues. Even though he only played about an hour, he still managed to play all of his hits. Touring in support of his new album Based on a T.R.U. Story, 2 Chainz played tracks such as “No Lie,” “Birthday Song,” “I’m Different” and “Luv Dem Strippers.” He also played his older songs like “Spend It” and “Beez in the Trap.” He kept the crowd entertained with a “sermon” about crack. He also talked about loving strippers, and he showed a music video in the middle of his performance. The crowd didn’t appreciate that because he had already kept everyone waiting for so long. Even though his performance was unimpressive and his interactions with the crowd were scripted, the audience didn’t seem to mind and enjoyed the club atmosphere of the concert.
