Concert Review: Katy Perry at the Q

Teenage wet dream is more like it

Katy Perry took the stage in front of a packed Quicken Loans Arena last night, delivering Technicolor wishes and cotton candy dreams.

The audience was definitely up for a party, and Perry and her crew delivered, with a set swirling with peppermint lollipops and hot pink glitter. The raven-haired singer dazzled and amazed with both her china-doll bone structure and live vocals.

She sang all of the hits that made her a star over the past couple years, like “Hot N Cold” and "Teenage Dream." She even made Rebecca Black's “Friday” bearable.

During “Not Like the Movies,” Perry straddled a huge swing, floating high above the fluffy pink set and the old-school cartoons that fluttered on screens behind her.
