CONTEST: Cleveland Indians Seek Governor of "Brohio"

Last season, the Brohio movement swept through Tribe Town, thanks, namely, to outfielder Nick Swisher.

This year, the team's hoping to capitalize on some of that bro-tastic momentum, and as such, they are holding a contest to find one bro to rule them all: a Governor of Brohio.

Interested bros over the age of 18 can submit a video campaign detailing why he (or she) is fit for the job, then three finalists will be selected to partake in a series of interviews at Tribe Fest, one being with the Bro King himself.

After Jan. 25, fans will be able to vote online for their favorite candidate, which will count for about 50 percent of the total vote. Swisher himself will cast the remaining 50 percent.

So what are the responsibilities (and perks) of being Governor?

The Brohio Governor is responsible for providing an exceptional experience for every fan that enters the Brohio section. This may include, but is not limited to welcoming bros, leading cheers, encouraging amazing awesomeness throughout the ballpark, and creating an enthusiastic and positive atmosphere for all Brohio nights.

The Governor will also have to attend every Friday and Saturday night home game next season.

So what are you waiting for? Enter now. The application deadline is Jan. 15.
