Cory Booker, One of America's Coolest Senators, Stumps for Hillary in Cleveland Thursday

[image-1]Hip young New Jersey Senator Cory Booker — the "passionate new voice in American politics" — will be in Cleveland this evening (Thursday), campaigning for Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton.

Booker is campaigning all afternoon in Toledo and Port Clinton and will close out his Ohio mini-tour at 6:30 p.m. at 6114 Woodland Ave., the Ohio Together Coordinated Campaign Office in Cleveland's Central neighborhood.

Clinton's team of political and celebrity supporters are ramping up their appearances in key swing states as election day looms. According to a press release from Hillary's Ohio campaign office, Booker will "lay out the stakes of the election," highlighting Clinton's vision for the economy and in particular her plan to make higher education more affordable. He will also encourage early voting.

Booker spoke at the Parma-Snow branch of the Cuyahoga County Public Library in City Club event in March, talking about his life and his bestselling book, United: Thoughts on Finding Common Ground and Advancing the Common Good.
