The Cleveland State University Vikings upset No. 1 seed Northern Kentucky in the Horizon League conference tournament Saturday night.

The Vikes will take on Oakland in a semifinal matchup at 7 p.m. tonight. If victorious, they'll play the winner of Milwaukee (#6) and Wright State (#2) for the Championship. Winning the Conference Tournament means an automatic bid to the NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament later this month.

CSU has had an abysmal year with new head coach Dennis Felton, going 11-22 overall. Home crowds have been sparse. The Vikes were ranked 8th out of 10 Horizon League teams going into the conference tourney and defeated Youngstown State in an opening round.

CSU has won the Horizon League just once before, in 2009, when Norris Cole, Cedric Jackson and the Vikings defeated Butler 57-54 in the conference championship. Butler is no longer in the Horizon League.
