Cuyahoga GOP split over 2008, wonder if they "should maybe get a black guy too?"

Warning: Several cute animals and one Dennis Kucinich (not pictured) were injured in the making of this press release. And by injured, we mean killed.
Hot off the presses, a release from the Republican Party of Cuyahoga County, which was kind enough to wash off the baby lamb's blood before sending this along:
Cleveland -- A straw poll conducted at Wednesday's joint Central and Executive Committee meeting of the Republican Party here in Cuyahoga County reflects the national polls. Mayor Rudy Giuliani and Senator Fred Thompson tied for the lead with 32% each. Former Speaker Gingrich came in third at 12%, followed by Governor Romney and Senator McCain.
Insiders say Thompson was encouraged by the poll numbers and is considering moving up his official entry into the race to September, 2011. McCain, meanwhile, was disheartened, responding to the news by firing his entire staff. He also tried to fire the barista at his local Starbucks, but was informed by the manager that it "wasn't really his call." -- Joe P. Tone
