Downtown Cleveland Employee Appreciation Week Continues with Sports Day Today

The folks over at the Downtown Cleveland Alliance have declared this week (May 12 - 16) Employee Appreciation Week in efforts to celebrate the 125,000 people who work downtown and showcase the fun and unique perks of working in Cleveland's epicenter.

"Downtown Cleveland is the number one job location in Ohio. And as the hub of activity in Cuyahoga County, downtown employees have access to amenities and benefits that are one-of-a-kind," the DCA boasts on its website.

To show off said amenities, the DCA has put together a lengthy list of activities for local employees to enjoy, including a "Sports Day" visit to Progressive Field today from 12:30 p.m. - 2:30 p.m. (RSVP here to get in on that) and an East Fourth Street happy hour, beginning at 4:30 p.m., with the Cavalier Girls, and Ketchup, Mustard and Onion from the Indians, and Chomps from the Browns.

Downtown employees can also snag a handful of other homerun deals this week— a $25 CLE Clothing Co. "Downtown is my Town" t-shirt, $17 tickets to Friday's Tribe game, and $2 cups of joe from POUR Cleveland, to name a few.

Happy hours are also scheduled for pretty much every day this week (many with free appetizers) to help keep you sated until the weekend. You may very well catch us at a couple of these because, hey, we all like to drink and feel appreciated.
