As part of October’s Third Friday open house at 78th Street Studios, E11even 2 is hosting a Halloween-themed reception for its latest exhibition, Snapped.
“Snapped is an exhibition that caters to all the senses, not just the visuals,” explains E11even 2 co-founder Rich Cihlar. “Christina Sadowski curated the exhibition, and has more than fifteen artists making works that are creepy, cool, and cute. It's a ‘something for everyone’ exhibition."
Guests are encouraged to wear costumes, festive beverages like warm cider will be provided, and the gallery will be transformed into a haunted house. "Not to the extent of scaring guests," says Cihlar, "but we're creating an atmosphere with other forms of decoration and style. "
“I wanted to merge my favorite holiday and passion for art into one memorable event, so I decided to have a Halloween art show,” adds Snapped curator and E11even 2 co-founder Christina Sadowski.
Everything takes place this Friday Oct. 17 from 5-9 p.m. Snapped and Third Friday at 78th Street Studios are both free and open to the public. Stop by Friday evening to get into the spirit of the season.
