International and national burlesque stars will celebrate burlesque heritage at the eighth annual Ohio Burlesque Festival that comes to the Beachland Ballroom next month. This year’s theme is “motion is power.”

More than 70 performers will be on hand for the three-day event which will feature burlesque, vaudeville, sideshow and variety acts.

It all kicks off on Thursday, Aug. 2, at the Beachland Ballroom with a special showcase featuring burlesque performances and comedy. On Friday, Aug. 3, a group of “all-star” performers will be on hand along with local burlesque artist Bella Sin. Then, on Saturday, Aug. 5, the event concludes with a special gala show.

Tickets are $50 for a weekend pass. Single day tickets will cost $20 in advance,
$25 at the door. VIP and reserved tickets are also available.
