Erin Hendrix Accused of Poisoning Daughter

Police in Mentor say that Erin Hendrix, 28, tried to poison her infant daughter over a period of more than a year.

The disturbing allegations seemingly get more disturbing the more details that are released.

The infant was 5-months old at the time when Hendrix began mixing lead nitrate with her food, prescriptions, and other items that came in contact with or were ingested by the child.

What occurred from Februrary 2008 to July 2009 has led to 22-counts being brought against Hendrix, who pleaded not guilty to the charges and is free on bail.
