We’ve all been there, right? Your mom packs you and your siblings off on some lame family excursion and you’re stuck, no way out, a license-less teen shanghaied away to an early A.M. crafts fair or to boost scrap from a Mentor metal yard. Exactly, who hasn’t been there?

Such was the Saturday morning mother-daughter activity of Terri Bowers and her 14- and 15-year old. After dawn cracked this weekend, Mentor Police got a call about trespassers at Micron Metalworks, located on Tyler Blvd., according to the News-Herald.
