Fox Sports Ohio Will Broadcast Columbus Crew Games

Columbus Crew SC matches are coming to Fox Sports Ohio/STO and the Fox Sports app, the regional network announced today.

It's a great move, not least because, besides its bread and butter of live Tribe, Cavs and Blue Jackets games, Fox Sports Ohio is a garbage station and an embarrassment that no one really talks about. (During the second week of the NFL playoffs, it was rerunning a Pro Football Weekly preview of the wild card games, if you're curious about its absolute horseshit programming, which probably wasn't noticed because no one watches it.) So, it'll be nice to get some live soccer instead of Beer Money reruns or some golf tourism crap that no one gives a shit about. Rest assured, you'll still get all that garbage, but at least you'll get a chance to follow the Crew.

It all kicks off this Saturday as the Crew take on the New York Red Bulls at 4:30 to open the club's MLS season.
