Get Your Christmas Ale Fix at Great Lakes' Christmas in July Later this Month

For those not willing to wait until the fall for that first taste of Christmas Ale, Great Lakes Brewing Co. is releasing the holiday specialty later this month.

Back once again, the seasonal favorite will be offered at a Christmas in July party at the company's Ohio City brewpub July 25 at 11:30 a.m. This is the only chance to sip the potent beverage before its official release in three months, and expect limited quantities of the ale on draft. (No one's walking out of there with growlers).

The event includes a pig roast that kicks off at 4 p.m, and a photo shoot with Brewer Santa from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Lovable puppies also make their way to the scene from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., brought from City Dogs Cleveland.

The brewery highly recommends calling ahead to check on availability that day. For those who still want to get into the early Christmas spirit, Great Lakes is releasing its Rum Barrel Aged Triple Dog Dare July 21, available at their gift shop.
