Gov. John Kasich Speaks at 'Politics and Eggs,' a Notable Stop for Presidential Hopefuls in New Hampshire

Gov. John Kasich was in New Hampshire yesterday, lending credence to suspicions that he's eyeing a run at the 2016 presidential election. This isn't his first trip to another state in these early months of campaign prospecting, but the appearance at a notable political event — Politics and Eggs! — in New Hampshire sends signals worth watching.

NEOMG's Henry Gomez, on the ground in NH, has a great report on the trip.

Still, “I’m not ready to make a decision,’’ Kasich told reporters. “This is not cat and mouse. All my options are on the table.” Kasich has been coy about the possibility for a while now, though his actions and words signal a more national presence lately.

Texas Sen. Ted Cruz became the first Republican to officially declare his run for the presidency.
