Happy Dog Launches New Lecture Series

For the past couple of years, the Happy Dog has hosted informal lecture series that feature local experts talking about a variety of different topics. A literary reading certainly goes over better with gourmet hot dogs and craft beers. Just last month, we stopped at the club/restaurant to hear Oberlin professor Wendy Hyman give a talk on the Shakespeare play Hamlet. The place was packed, and everyone was paying close attention too. Tonight at 7:30, the Happy Dog launches yet another lecture series. Aptly titled Happy Dog Takes on the World, it’s a world affairs series done in partnership with the City Club and the Cleveland Council on World Affairs. Tonight’s topic: “Making Sense of the Ukraine-Russia Crisis.” Admission is free. Find more info at happydogcleveland.com.
